Reyn Staffel Oriental Rugs was established in Eugene, Oregon, in 1983. From the beginning our goal has been to provide fine quality oriental rugs for both the collector, and those seeking the best contemporary carpets with which to decorate their homes. Over the years, we have placed exceptional pieces in some of the most important collections in North America, as well as in the homes of members of our local community and their friends and family across the country.

Our fascination with oriental rugs developed from having lived with Persian and Turkmen carpets purchased by family members early in the 20th Century.

We have shared our interest by teaching classes at Lane Community College and through hosting exhibitions at the University of Oregon Natural History Museum, and at our gallery. In 1997, we closed the gallery in order to travel and devote more time to other interests. We've continued to stay involved in the rug business since then, but now have increased our presence through the establishment of this on-line store.
