- A vanity bag or possibly half of a miniature saddle bag, the face of the piece was woven in reverse sumak technique. The mulitiple borders create a sense of depth for the central cruciform design. The handle is surprisingly soft and supple. Ivory bands at the botton and on the back appear to be goat hair. Colors are rich and clear. The top of the bag above the ivory border has been re-woven.

- These mint condition Kordi saddlebags are from the Darreh Gaz region of Khorasan. W. Stanzer in his excellent book, KORDI, shows a very similar pair on page 191.
