  • This is a lovely, very old sumak bagface with a nice range of subtle colors often found in pieces from this period. Some restoration of the brown lattice is visible under close examination. Great drawing,handle and presence.

  • A wonderful very old Afshar bag face that really does have the handle of a handkerchief. Note the aubergine in the minor borders. Quite amazing that the little bit of flatweave remains at the bottom (ever so precariously). This could be brought back significantly for about $400-500, but personally I like the story as it is.
