- This ivory field Shirvan is the proper size for a prayer rug and may have been used for this purpose. The dyes are all clear, natural and include a nice aubergine. A small design element in the top of the rug is woven with camel hair. It would be interesting to know what motivated the weaver to include this material. Small animals and other fillers along the edge of the field add charm to this fine little rug.

- This rug has a relatively fine weave, and a subtle varied range of natural deeply saturated colors. The kufesque major border and the ivory minor borders provide a pleasing balance to the stepped diamond field. Overall excellent condition including original ends and sides. A traditional design, few of this age of Karabaghs show the range of colors and attention to detail evident in this rug.

- This dramatic and colorful rug was reportedly purchased from Baluchi tribesmen in the area between Quetta and Kandahar. It was woven to be used as a sleeping rug and shows similarities to Persian gabbehs. There are approximately 4 to 6 wefts between each row of symmetrical knots. The wool is long and glossy and in excellent condition. All dyes are rich and natural. The back of the rug is charming as well.
